CFD Consultants GmbH is an engineering company located in southwest Germany near Stuttgart. With over 20 years of presence on the market, we develop industry-independent calculation models around Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). As a leading service provider for technical calculations in a wide range of industry sectors, our customer portfolio ranges from big players and market leaders to small and medium-sized companies and startups.

For all development projects around fluid mechanical questions, we offer a comprehensive and detailed analysis of flow fields plus fluid mechanical optimization with respect to multi-disciplinary boundary conditions. To best meet the challenges of our customers we use state-of-the-art software tools and have access to all known CFD codes as well as related suites for CAD, geometry meshing and visualization.  To work on our customer's projects we use powerful hardware as in-house Linux clusters or high-end cloud-based resources of the Stuttgart High-Performance Computing Centre (HLRS). Model sizes up to 1 billion control volumes are possible.

In addition to our tailor-made solutions as a service provider, we also support our customers in establishing their own CFD know-how and setting up their own CFD departments.

If required, we implement methods from other disciplines such as structural mechanics (FEM), electrochemistry, flight mechanics, etc. Depending on the desired calculation depth, these methods range from pragmatic models according to the 80/20 rule to “high fidelity” solutions with the highest accuracy.

Our experienced engineers are involved in numerous research projects with universities and we have excellent contacts with a broad, cross-sector network of CFD Software vendors and Management consultancies. Through our network, we are also able to assist our customers in the development of marketable products. Additionally, we are in a position to provide support for adequate project financing.
